Thanks David. They are charging $6.50 for the drawings, but $26.50 for shipping (there's a $25 handling fee for us foreigners!! So won't be doing it that way!
Thanks anyway. Nigel

Why doesn't someone in the USA buy a copy and remail it to Nigel (and copies to anyone else not of the USA ilk)?

Most of the drawings I've seen like this which they sell are a poster size multiple sheet set. So most likely they would be sending it in a cardboard postal shipping tube and they would be too large to duplicate unless someone has a friend in the blueprint business. I just checked the US postal rates for a box or tube with a weight one ounce up to one pound and it would cost me $26.50 for priority mail shipping from the USA to the UK. We don't have an economy surface mail rate anymore. The only cheaper shipping available is the small flat rate box which is 5" x 8" x 1" for $12.95. But the posters would need to be folded multiple times to fit. With paying for postage twice after getting them to ship it me or someone else in the USA to send on, you'd likely be spending the same total postage only to get a creased item.
Link below is the shipping specs for USA to UK with a 1 pound or less item. http://ircalc.usps.gov/IntlMailServi...2&P=1&O=0&sd=0 In the end you need to decide if the overall price of the item/information with shipping is worth the price and not simply look at the cost of shipping. Or check with the IWM archives since no doubt that is where this originated.
