It looks like an antenna mount and the rolled up canvas cover for the roof hatch.

It because on my ford i have a hold with a cap at the same place i wonder if that hold is for a antenna

Default 3rd (montreal) Field Battery of Artillery

Yes it is an antenna mount our C15A is an old Wire truck (C15AW)that why we also have a small tunnel on our truck trap. I have included a picture showing us firing at Terrebonne for the 'Jour du souvenir'
The number 3 firing is M. Lalonde a Korea veteran, he was designated by the Terrebonne vet association.

Default Antenna

It is a regular 19 set antenna made of two parts.
We used the C15AW as a gun tractor so we do not have a radio on board.
So far it as been a very reliable Field Artillery Tractor (FAT).
We bought it from André Gibeault.
