The Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Museum & Archives were given a UC Mk. I* (Ford Canada) consisting of the lower hull/engine/running gear. Happily the data plate is there but the section with the painted on DND number and the portion of the armour in front of the driver with the WD number stamped in the top edge are sadly both missing. As is often the case, the armour was removed when it ws converted for use as a fire-fighting vehicle on an island. We would like to restore it to be a full runner for parade use. Does anyone know of any UCs M. I* in BC with armour that might act as donor vehicles? ![]()
