Now that I figured out how to post pictures, in the next few days I will post pictures of what my wife likes to refer to as junk. Most women do not see things through the same eyes as men. Every once and awhile she will say to me : What are you going to do with all that junk ? Junk to her but gold to me .
Cheers Eric |

Last I checked you cant drive Jewellery, or paint it green (which would be a vast improvement).
The 'taking up space' argument I havent thought of a comeback yet. Tony Smith where are you?? Sounds like you may have to start getting one on the road lads.

Well, only once. Wearing her house coat was probably not a good idea when she slide into a vehicle to help me bleed the hydraulics. The dam coat thing somehow shifted and allowed bare flesh to touch the cold steel floor. I bleed brakes all by myself now. |

No restoration started on any yet, still in buying mode. Not original engine in this one but I do have the original in the front. Was set up to be driven from back with hydraulic steering.

My wife refers to my carrier as the "TANK"! Today I went to a farm
auction and purchased a plastic 2000 gallon tank for spray water. She phoned and asked what I bought ...I said a tank and she sceamed "OH MY GOD NOT ANOTHER ONE " HA HA Made my day!! Terry |

I have a fair bit of track that someone has welded grousers to, I guess where ever it was meant to go buy previous owners they must have need more traction. My wife just hates summer time, thats when I get the itch for exploring and finding more junk as she says. It is just a nice Sunday drive, "Honest". I really thing it just spring fever or some kind of fever anyways.

your sone has a nice basis for a project, might even still have the CT number in the armour infront of the driver too. a lovely collection there. Kevin Powles may have a few photo requests of the tank destroyer engine cover's i think he was looking to see how the flap on the top locked shut, amongst other things.

The carrier with the dual cylinders looks like one I viewed a number of years back, located about 3 miles West of Kakabeka falls. Same one? |

Thats the one all right. Eric: Do you know if the 3/4 ton is still there? As I recall his price was right, and it would almost be worth the long trip to recover it.

Hi Rob, yes that is the same one. The fella who owned them passed away awhile ago. I drove by there 2 weeks ago but the truck was gone. I heard his wife was selling all his things off. When I bought the carrier I asked him about the truck, he told me one price then next time i saw him and asked about it the price had doubled. I wasn't really interested enough in it to pay the price at that time. Now I kinda wish I would have got it, close the barn door after the horse is out kinda thing.
