Let's keep all the restoration topics here to form a permanent pool of expertise! I'll move over the other topics and we can add to them from there.
Let's also pretty much keep this to technical discussions as opposed to simply using this as a showcase of your own restored vehicles; however, pics in support of your restoration points are very welcome and even encouraged, and of course, when a restoration job is completed, we want to see it!

Thanks Geoff
Some of my peers consider me a bit of a purist with regards to restoration, but I wear that as a badge of honour. If it takes an extra 10% effort to get the correct part or remove that last island of old paint, its worth it. I am really looking forward to all the restoration tips from around the world. Maybe we can write a book later. Bob
