Default Crankcase Breather Ques.

Guys, I was missing the crankcase breather for my MKII ,so I ordered a C11AS-6766 from Brian (fast!). This is the only # I see for all the carriers.Thing is,it doesn't have a way of fastening to the oil filler neck.I must be missing something.I will try to post links to the pics I have.http://s352.photobucket.com/albums/r...Carrier077.jpg

OK,as you can see, there is no way to fasten the breather to the filler neck.In the parts book,it looks like the breather has more of a neck on the bottom that would fit into the oil filler neck. What's missing?
Dave

You have the wrong filler neck for that air cleaner, or that air cleaner is the wrong one for your filler neck!

There was discussion in THIS THREAD with pics.

That thread is great. You want the middle one from post #5 C11AS 6766B.

Default Are any of these what you are looking for

Hi Jordan

Have you checked out Mac's Parts they have a number of decals listed for 1932-1947. http://macsautoparts.com/search.asp?...ecal&x=22&y=10

PS did anybody see this post yesterday? I posted it but it seemed to have disappeared.

Cheers Phil

Hi all,
While trolling the carrier info. thread search, found this thread. It made me check my parts to complete my engine rebuild/restoration or the carrier. I had bought the oil bath filter from Brain as well. Now I know I have the wrong one, @#$%^ darn!
Does any one have a proper oil bath air breather as found on page 22, ill.#5 of FU C-03- part # C11AS 6766 D that they could spare?
Any help would be appreciated.
Doug
