"Courage & Service" CD
The "Courage & Service" CD was delivered this morning for manufacturing. It is expected back in 3 weeks. The CD contains the award citations for the Canadian Army in WWII including foreign awards. The CD also includes 7 different databses for Canadian Naval awards and 8 databases for Canadian air awards. These additional databases cover Canadians in RN or RFC/RAF/RNAS service, Korea-era awards, foreigners decorated in Canada (i.e. RAF/RNZAF/RAAF) WWI awards and more. Many entries also include the award recipients biography including place of birth enlistment date, courses attended, sortes (and hours) flown or Ships served in, post-war career, post-war decorations, etc....
This is an absolutely fabulous reference work and I cannot recommend it enough.

I should have mentioned that, if printed in hard copy, the CD contains over 8,000 pages of MS Word text.
