Default Carrier under a junk pile

While surfing another website about grotty cars, I noticed what appears to be a carrier in the background. It is in the set of pictures dated May 12 2011, hiding behind the Rover. Comments?

Default Hi

Sgt. Do you have a name you can put up in your profile.
Yes it is a carrier, and has some of its front armour.
It appears to be in Israel.

one mans treasure is another mans junk........ironically its probably worth 4 times the value of that car ..........just guessing but it looks to be a Mk2 hull (front sand guards and she was not welded) the comment about the mini made me laugh........ those light bumpers were introduced in the 80's "bloody orrible" and none the less two a penny.

Default Richard

Why do you think front sand guards are a MkII UC thing?

because i thought that shape sand guard was introduced Mk2 and later.... Mk1 had the rolled edge type rather than the pressed guard with step which appears to be on this one.

Default Thats right Richard.

I took you to mean, from you comment, that the MkI* never had them.
