A friend is currently restoring his 1944 Canadian Dodge APT. He will soon be applying the markings. I could not find any information, so any photos or links to photos showing these would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Joseph.

Joseph,
As far as I know, there are no 1944 Dodges APT's, they were all made well into 1945, and therefore never used in Europe during the war. Hope this helps, Alex |

You are right Alex, my mistake as it is in fact a 1945 Dodge APT. Do you know of any photos we might see in order to reproduce the Canadian markings? Thanks and regards, Joseph.

Hi Galea,
One of the MLU members was researching markings for his Canadian Dodge APT restoration and you can view it by searching ; My Canadian dodge restoration by Robbby84 in this forum. I sent him a couple of pictures of a Dodge APT here in Canada that was unrestored and had the "S" painted on the body as well as the lend lease water decal. You may want to contact him.Hope this helps. Regards,Derk.

Alex, This statement may be incorrect. I know I have seen pictures floating around of APTs in European theatre. Now, granted, until I can find them and the Archives numbers and dates I have no proof. They may have been there just prior to cessation of hostilities or just after. The pics I refer to are APTs in Holland.
