Default Census number for Chev Tractor L.A.A.T

Hello Folks,

I am looking for help to find a census number for a Chevrolet. How can i find the correct number or range of numbers for this truck.

Chervrolet C-30 L.A.A.T. Canada
Chassis model: C-30444-M
Cab: 13
Chass No: 2844138696
Order: LV 314
Date: 11 feb 1943

Can't find any numbers on the truck.

Also looking for ww2 photo's of these trucks with towed 40mm bofors in europe.

Regrettably, even though I have data plate details off similar LAATs, I don't have any Canadian Census Numbers for them.

Alan, that picture looks like it shows a Bedford QLB rather than a CMP LAAT.

Looks like a Bedford LAAT but a gread photo, thanks.

Photos of the restored ones are also welkom.


The one we are restoring coms from Danmark and is almost ready

Paul,

Didn't have a chance to talk during your open house, but have to say the LAAT looked excellent so far. Is the colour the same as your Loyd?

I guess the Boffer will get a repaint as well?

Can't help you with the census number sadly.

No the colour is made from the inside of the dashboard so it must be good.

all goes well with the chevy.
