Sherman V, Canadian?

I was sandblasting my Sherman V turret yesterday and found a name on both sides. GAINSBOROUGH written in 3" lettering, not stencil, along the lower edge of the turret. My Sherman is T146309. Noting that T146308 served in The Governor Generals Horse Guards, indeed many of the T146*** range were in Canadian units and seeing there is a Gainsborough in Saskatchawan...... I have not found any unit markings though, so maybe you guys have some thoughts.
