Default Northern Tablelands Military Vehicle Rally

Hello all,
Just a quick notification of a military vehicle rally to be held in Guyra NSW on the 27th, 28th & 29th of January at the Guyra showground - Dutton Parade, Guyra.
It will basically be a get together for military vehicles of any age or size (there will even be WW1 light horse re-enactors coming). There will also be a classic car show joining us at the showground as well.
There will be free camping at the showground - with showers, toilets & powered sites. There is plenty of shade & it is relatively cool in mid summer & has lower humidity due to Guyra's altitude. (bring some warm clothes just in case!).
This should be a good opportunity to see a number of vehicles that are rarely seen & many haven't been shown at any major events before due to distance.
The rally will be running at the same time as the Lamb & Potato festival & the Guyra & district historical society machinery group's antique machinery rally & swap meet....... so there should be something to see for all ages.

Looking foward to see how it goes.
Robert Williams

Default Pictures, we want pictures

For those of us in northern climes where January means snow, just the thought of a summer time rally makes us drool. So pictures please.

Cheers Phil

BLOODY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent venue, good range of vehicles and dog friendly.

Highlight for me was the parade lead by the light horse brigade.

Default roll up

Good to see a great line up, the cooker looks like the place to spend an hour or so on a cold wet weekend. Great thinking to who ever dragged it along. Not many seen out and about. thanks for the pics.

A friend's recently deceased father used to recite an WWII experience when he was sent from Singleton to Richmond in an 8 cwt blitz (sorry no brand) with a Wiles cooker in tow. Everything went fine but slowly until the decent into Colo River when the road went one way and the cooker wanted to go the other and gravity won. They rode the truck only as long as they needed to depart the cab.
