This info comes from A.C.I's (army council instructions)
I have 3 books that each cover a year (1941, 1942, and 1943) These books cover all matter of subjects, but as my interest is mostly vehicle related, here is some of it.

The pages with the dates, also show the "block " of paragraphs, that the vehicle disposal paragraph ties to.

In the last post I managed to post 2 copies of a page that ties in with this first one.
I remember a bun fight where people were arguing that anything goes with regards the use of Thompsons, by the Canadian army. while Ed Storey said something along the lines, that the rules didn't allow it. Those involved will remember..... Here, in line with Ed's veiw, is the (British) army's instruction on Vehicle mods. then more on tank disposals. What surprises me is that I always thought there was a shortage of equipment, however the "authorities" were quite decisive about "old and obsolete" No wonder so many of these vehicle types are gone. Is anyone interested in this stuff?
