I found a 1949 McPhersons catalogue . The large industrial business based in Melbourne

Things I discovered :

They had a bolt factory in Richmond .

A foundry in Tottenham .

They manufactured lathes and other machinery in Kensington , Melbourne .

They manufactured AJAX pumps in a factory in Tottenham

They had factory in Kyneton

Hi Mike,
They had a branch here in East Victoria Park in WA. Some of the older fellows may remember this store. I went there with my father when I was a baby.
You could buy quality specialist tools there that you could not get anywhere else. I think they closed in the early 80's.

The WA head office was at 532 Murray street PERTH , in 1949 .
