Default Instrument panels and placards

Gents, I am looking for examples of the placards / stencilling on carriers, preferably to include approximate sizes, plus I would like to know the difference between the MkI and MkII carrier instrument panel...was there any difference to the layout on Canadian v UK manufactured carriers.

Thanks.

George.

Hi George

From my experience the Bren and Scout didn't have a plaque on the instrument panel. They did carry a small brass plaque describing choke operation next to the choke cable on the top of the division plate L section, in front of the air inlet.

The MK1's have a choke operating plaque on the dash, below the speedo I think and another smaller ford one too.

I can post pictures of them all tomorrow if that helps?

There are other plaques dotted around too.

Ben
