Spotted this ad in Just Trucks heavy equipment.
No affiliation to seller... Wouldn't this be a bit light for an artillery unit? That's as a tractor if I'm interpreting the ad correctly. Does the Vin No. 41074 give any clues to history? Well out of my range, just interested. Cheers Tim |

This is the 1 ton ute. Many were attached to artillery units. I am restoring a 39 model. The artillery tractors were Ford/Marmon Herrington 4x4 trucks. They had the same roadster cab. This has been for sale for awhile now at that price. Initially the seller had it listed for $40,000!!!
I know of another one available for around $5,000 |
