One vs Two springs on the T16 suspension
I have been looking at my suspension arms and I have two sets with a spring inside a spring and two sets with just one spring.
Question- Was there a method to this or have one of the successive owners over the years added a set of springs? I have the maintenance manual and it talks about spring removal and replacement but no mention of there being a second set inside the first. Was this modification made on anyone else's carrier?
