Wanted: 10.5 R x 20 Michelin XL tire

An odd tire to find in Canada. If you were to go to an 11R20 Michelin, there should be plenty of those around. Here in MB, approx 1100 of them are being sold as surplus as the prisons dismantle the MLVWs.

Rob, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what sizes were common. I believe Unimogs also used the 10.5Rx20 size. Maybe I'll have to switch sizes all around. ... Brian

Brian, could you have picked a "less unsightly" truck? That thing is not easy to look at!

The SUMB may look odd but they are fun to drive especially with the cab roof removed. You sit very high. They have a very springy suspension and the cab is sprung separately from the cargo box so the ride is comfortable. They have the distinction of using the last-produced Ford flathead V8. May drive one down to Acton swap meet on Saturday.
