Armor, Funnies or What Was He Thinking
Hi All
Don't know where this post belongs, Armor, Funnies or What Was He Thinking, one of the guys in our club just sent this story link to me for our newsletter. Oregon man cited after crashing battle tank If that link doesn't work try this http://www.kboi2.com/news/local/Oreg...234801781.html Thought the story was interesting on a number of levels. Cheers Phil

What's up?
Does anyone know why the tank was slipping out of gear? Is this indicative of a faulty transmission/selector? Is it a fault to which the Chieftain is prone or is it perhaps a peculiarity of the vehicle whereby before tackling a steep hill there is some additional action that must be taken that is known only to the initiated?

Or maybe because the "driver" really didn't know what he was doing...
