Bren Mount ???

Hello Gentlemen,

I am building an RAAF Ford pickup in 1:35 scale.
This one.

I have also found this picture.

Is the contraption attached to the bumper a Bren AA mount?
If so does anyone have more info about it?
Maybe dimensions and how it is attached, there seems to be a connection to the mudguard??
