Going through my files I found some old pictures concerning the TPZ-1 8x8 prototype, built as a possible successor of the DAF YP-408, 8x6 apc. The prototype was tested and later destroyed. The YPR-765 AIFV was finally the winning vehicle.

Tpz is German I guess and means Transportpanzer?
It looks like a lengthened Fuchs 6x6, while the centre reminds me of that Czechoslovak big thing... Nuyt |

Yes it was an extended version of TPZ1 Fuchs. Made at special request of the "Koninklijke Landmacht". So quit unique.
