is there any chance to find such a latch on an other vehicle or in a shop??

Or will I have to built one?

I found this picture on the web , this door looks different, the latch also, Is it a bad repro or on other type?

I think i know where the last picture is from and I think that was an original. By the looks of it the only difference on between the top picture of mine and the other is that the foldes metal piece covers the whole widths of the hatch and the handle is more "shaped" compared to mine, I thing you could make a replica relatively easy

I Will try to make a copy, I am just working on the rear roof hatch , the front hatch will be my next job.

I finish the hatch, and the latch, I'm asking myself if there is a ball and a spring use for a lock or nothing in the square part of the latch?
