HERE IS A PHOTO OF THE CARRIER WE ARE TRYING TO DUPLICATE.SHOWS ONLY MUD .VETERAN SAYS IT WAS A LIGHT GREEN WITH SAND THROWN OR WIPED IN TO THE WET PAINT. HE CANT REMEMBER. NO BLACK .THIS CARRIER WAS NO. 10 GUN C COMPANY SLI ATTACHED TO THE ROYAL 22ND SITE SAYS THE PHOTO IS TO LARGE. SORRY. VETERAN SAYS IT WAS WASHED ONCE TO HIS RECOLLECTION WHEN A GENERAL WAS TO INSPECT ---IT WAS WASHED WITH GAS MIXED WITH OIL AND IT WAS SAID TO PROVIDE A SPECTACULAR RESULT. IF REPLYING COULD YOU ADVISE WHERE ONE PURCHASES THIS PAINT .MILITARY CODES REFERING TO PAINT COLOURS DON'T HELP.HAVE A LINE ON A SECOND DERELICT CARRIER .IF CONFIRMED MAY BE A SOURCE FOR PARTS.

Lyle,
(1) When posting pics, simply resize to 600 pixels wide first, and save with medium compression. If that's a problem for you, most of us here can do this for you. (2) When replying to a topic (or continuing a discussion on a similar subject) hit POST REPLY on the existing subject rather than NEW THREAD. This keeps some semblance of symmetry in the forum...  (3) Try to avoid using all-caps in making posts... it's damned hard to read...   Thank you, THE MANAGEMENT
