These pictures were recently auctioned on eBay. The first one (Orig. Foto Fahrzeug in Holland WL-347442 #70 Item number: 6177826458) looks like a Dodge with coach-built cab:

The first picture is a D series Dodge with local cab. Not sure about the second one though

Thanks Hanno:
Actually, a member of another forum sent me that whole batch a few days ago. The Dodges are 1939 D series and the other photo is of a 1937 Ford V8. The mobile office trailers were quite interesting I thought. Bill

Hanno:
All of the Dodges and the single Ford are impressed civilian vehicles from the Dutch economy. I suspect that the trailers are impressed as well as I have not seen such trailers in my German military vehicle files. They appear to me to be what you would find at major construction sites. I did ask the fellow who sent them if he had any more information but he did not. We were questioning whether there was one Dodge and many trailers or if it was a small fleet of Dodge tractor trucks that was taken over. Bill

The Dodge is a cowl unit model. These were exported to a large number of places around the world so It is probably a captured Civilian model from one of the occupied countries that the Germans over ran in the early stages of the war.

Hanno & Cliff:
Boy, that seller has the goods!! Just spent half an hour going through just the first two pages of what he has to offer. Very interesting for me as captured/impressed civilian vehicles is a big part of my hobby interest. I have a thread going on that at Wehrmacht-Awards.com. Really nice stuff. Bill
