Default Trailer type

Rolf what type is your trailer and do you have a date of manufacture? I'm trying to find an early war British/South African 15cwt trailer but can't find any details of who made one?

Thanks
Nigel

Its a great looking trailer though

Default 20-cwt trailer

your pic is the same model of trailer I have in my Garage that is featured in the Wildflower article in the most recent edition of CONVOY magazine. The tags are on the front left frame just behind the hitch. It is a 20 cwt trailer made by Dominion bridge, Mine was made in October 1945, my seriel # is 04-20-P-GS-2-145. It would be interesting to know how close our #s are to each other. It's also referenced on page 165 of Canadian military Vehicle series Volume 1

Default 20cwt TRAILER

Does anyone know of a source for a trailer manual (parts- service) for this model. Mine still has the tags with the info I posted earlier.

Default Parts manual

...replying to my own posts... ??? getting thick I guess. The parts manual is included in the C15A-04 manual, it's a water tanker but the chassis is all the same. Right under my nose.

Harry, I recently bought Canadian 20-cwt GS Trailer and I am looking for any information & manuals. Could I get a photocopy of your water trailer manual?

Other than on tags (data plates), is the serial number also struck in on the chassis somewhere?

Thanks & regards,
Hanno
