Default Convoy photo sought

I am looking for a photograph, in colour, of a CMP convoy. The ideal picture will have a series of 3+ CMPs without too many "modern" distractions.
The chosen photo will be used for the cover of a book on CMPs and will form part of the companion series to the "Weapons of War" series that I publish. Examples of the companion books are "Tools of the Trade" and "Secret Weapons of the Canadian Army".

Thnx,

Clive

Thanks Hanno. Unfortunately, all of the good photos are from the rear. I may have to wait for the next CMP convoy in Ottawa next summer.

Hi Clive

Have you already had a look through my collection at WheelsAndTracks or the Normandy 2004 on lycos?

Think there should be some nice pics of CMP's. I've been travelling around NZ. So I woun't be back home before January 06 if there should be anything you'd like.

Greetings from Kaikoura NZ (the place where all the whales can be spotted)

cu

In a perfect world this is the kind of photo that I can find - a line up of CMPs (different ones, if possible), with not too many civilian distrac tions and oriented in such a way that text can be dropped in.

This photo is from the May 1945 victory parade. These FATs are in the background of the original photo and are too fuzzy when blown up to the required size.

Clive, dammit, you've found a colour photo of the 4th, 5th and 6th Field parade 15 May 1945! Look at the last pic on page 306/307 in THE GUNS OF VICTORY. You bugger! The latter's taken a minute after yours.

Got any more of them?
