This was an auction held at Singleton in NSW with an interesting assortment of vehicles... this page has a number of carriers and the prices made ranging from 58 to 74 pounds, quite a lot of money in those days. The average male wage was about 15 pounds.
CMPs in the auction included Chev wireless vans and even a Chev CGT No8 tractor but sadly no prices were penciled in for them.

Here's the CGT. How do we know it's a No.8? Well, that's the most likely, although it COULD have been a cab 12 7A2.
