Airborne Dodge 3/4 ton
Have recently got copies of war diary for british airborne A/tk batteries for operation varsity, plus copies of loading lists of gliders.
In both it states about the 17pdr tow being a dodge 3/4 not the standard morris C8. Can anyone send me details of any changes or modifications to make it fit a glider if any or any other information would be very helpful. Pictures even better.  :

Airportable Tractors
If this was the case then the answer lies in the filing cabinets in the Airborne Forces Museum at Aldershot. A film/movie is available on cassette of Morris tractors at least being loaded, etc. and I have now seen photos of MCC tractors being loaded into Hamilcars, as well as the C15TA I mentioned before. When I go to the museum shortly I will check the files on Dodge trucks.
