Default The great CMP poster challenge

As seen in the recent thread on Robert Pearce the excellent self-portrait Robert send has some of us thinking it would be a good idea for all CMP owners to submit a photograph of themselves in front of their CMP from the same distance and position. The aim will be to combine all these images into a composite image and then I'll create a large jpeg which you can download and have printed out to A3 size for framing on your wall. Think how cool that will be! Your framed poster on the wall will be a great conversation starter at dinner parties, with your wife proudly pointing you out to her friends...

It's critical you try to match the scale and angle of the pictures - the key to making this spectacular will be uniformity. If you have more than one CMP, feel free to send in a picture of yourself in front of as many as possible. Even those you may find as wrecks in the wilderness or junkyards of your country - let's make this work!

Default Tell us more

Sounds good how about setting a camera height and distance from camera. I would say camera at 5’ 2-6” and 10” from the truck centered on the grill. Attached is a sample to see how the match would be, I have not tried to adjust the size to match picture size.

If this works for you I will try and get all of the trucks and owners at Chatworth this weekend.

Default Excellent!

That's great, Phil

Of course the size of the wheels determines the angle of the arm, doesn't it.

Keep up the good work!
