Gotfredson flourished on Ford subcontracts for a variety of needs. In particular, the firm supplied Ford with thousands of cabs and bodies for military vehicles during the war years. Then after the war it was back to Ford cabs and truck bodies, also convertibles. And by then Gotfredson Ltd. had expanded into Studebaker of Canada's old Windsor assembly plant. But it also did Diamond T bodies ..so take your pick..

How's this for a desirable project? Trouble is of course NOT for sale and part of the Beck museum in Queensland. ![]() Judging by the light stone under khaki it's another of the vehicles brought back from the Western Desert campaign. Needless to say it's extremely rare to find one of these tractors in uncut condition. More pics here.
