Default Iltis Nato Trailer plug removal

I am in the process of removing a wiring harness from a Bombardier Iltis. The rear harness has a standard NATO trailer plug on the rear. I have removed the cover, and was able to loosen the screw on backing. Now I have to remove the wires out of the rubber portion of the wiring connector.

Any tips or tricks to get the wires out of the rubber holder, without damaging the wires.

Stuart
