Dear all,
I have been looking at the data sheets at the MLU vehicles specifications and can see that a *30 and *60S have different wheels and the Chevys have different number of blades at the rear springs. But apparently not the Fords, which do have different number of blades at the front springs. Also, I notice small differences in track width (Chevy). I have tried to find pictures on the web, but have not really had any luck. Can anybody on this learned forum please help. AND by the way, are there any other ways to distinguish the 30 and 60S? Thanks you. Martin |

The Chevrolet major assemblies catalogue (August 1944) CMA-01, lists the C30 having the 5 inch CV joint front axle. The book has the C60S and C60L models listed with both the 5 inch OR the 6 inch front axle assembly. Don't know but this maybe a early or late production difference.

The slightly different track width is caused by the 20" wheels having a different offset.

Hello Martin,
This was discussed in the thread wanted: Chev CMP chassis views and see post #18 and #19 for a synopsis. Ref. the CMP Specification pages: https://www.mapleleafup.nl/legacy/ve...kin/specs.html
