Default Unknown WWII Pictures

The following pictures were just given me, there are no notations or any explanation of any kind. The challenge is to identify the location of the pictures an any other details that can be drawn from them.

The pictures shown below have been reduced in size to 679 x 554 pixels. On my web page the links go to the ordinal scans which are 5233 x 4068 pixels at 1200 dpi which you can blowup for more details.
