If you are asking for information on the early 235 splash feed engine, according to my TM the initial timing is 5 degrees B.U.D.C.
If using a timing light the setting is 'steel ball set in the flywheel to be on the pointer'. TM 10-1557 1-1/2 ton 4x4 Chevrolet truck built for US Army. If it's the later engine, I can't help. David
