Hi Sylvain

The U brackets I think you are talking about are to release the latch on hook, they are often bent or even broken off from hitting trailer connection when backing up.

Yours look to be the correct shape.

Now I see what you are asking about. This is a new one on me, don't think I have ever seen these before.

You may be correct that they are hose clamps. Wonder if they are part of the trailer brake booster set up.

Yes a trailer brake that's possible !
I have some curious hole drilled in the cab floor and plate welded on the pedal.
Was there a brake KIT?

What was the use of such brake lines ? For a gun ?
