You are a fortunate man to have extra barrels - scarce as hens teeth here. But then, sadly, so is hunting....too densely populated in NJ. I am blessed to have two Johnsons in full military configuration, one MilTech restoration and two Winfield Johnsons with sporter stocks. Looking for a couple of original military front sights if you know any sources, and I was just in touch with a guy who is going to manufacture a run of walnut stocks for 1941 Johnsons - a thing needed around here since so many of the original stocks are now cracked at the wrist. Hope yours is in tact.
