Howard and Derk,
Thanks very much for your replies. Derk, your photos will help quite a bit as and when I start the model build. I note that the thread was posted several years ago. How far have you got with your restoration? If completed, are there any photos on MLU for review? It's one thing to build a 1/35th sale model and quite another to see a completed 1:1 restoration.  If complete, congratulations. If not yet, best of luck!

My CMP project is still all in pieces. I hope to build a shop this year so I have a place to restore vehicles in. Once that's done then I can start the restoration. It has taken me years to find all of the pieces and now that I have everything the vehicle shouldn't take too long to do. The ambulance box on the other hand has to be completely re-skinned and that is where the work is going to be a challenge. Looking forward to it though. Good luck with your project. Regards,Derk
