That Chev panel-van was about as close to perfect for military show travelers like us as is possible. Then again I am a hypocrite because it was 100% original both mechanical and body but I put a 5 speed overdrive gearbox in (just bolt in, no cutting) which gave me 120kmh at the same revs the original did 90kmh The Dodge sedan had a higher ratio diff so could handle 100kmh without stress.
