Default Beltring 2008

Guys,
It was good to catch up with so many of you at Beltring 2008. Dan (my son) and I thouroughly enjoyed the whole show
Luke, good to hear that you all arrived home safely on Sunday, and thanks for the kind words on the award that I received. Attached is a picture of your F 15 plus my Matchless.
Richard, apart from making Glenn's day, just as we were going into the main arena for the prize giving, the Battle of Britain flight went over, just as we were moving off, must be one of the most moving experiences I have ever witnessed. One I will never forget. Roll on 2009 !
Keith

Hi Keith,

Congratulations on your award for the Matchless, it must be light years since I won it with my M20..........just looked it was 1989 !

The B of B flight was quite a surprise, but a good end to a great show, with good company.

Chris,

Good photos

Looks like you visited our camp (where the tyres were) and at a guess, on the Sunday , I did not see you about.

There are two photos on there that are odd ones out.........not Canadian, can you spot them?

Hi Richard

Yes, I only managed to visit this part of the camp on Sunday, a few hours before I had to catch the plane back home. So I was in a little bit of rush. But I was luckily to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with the Lancaster. Sadly, the Lancaster wasn't in Duxford the week before nor at Farnborough on Saturday (too strong winds).

Hmm, which odd pics do you mean? Keefy's Aussie DVD's? Or the Fox Armoured Car?

Greetings
Chris

Sorry to have missed you, Chris.

The "odd" photos, not CMP / Canadian, were the Dutch owned Humber MkIV armoured car...........the Fox is a copy of it.

regards, Richard
