John has a former C15A Wireless Signals (Aust) as well as a 3-tonner.

So they are Holden assembled 1942 or 43 year. I've seen engines either black, grey or vehicle colour. The transfer case and driveshafts were khaki like the rest of the truck - if you're depicting post-war then you might consider gloss deep bronze green as an overall colour too.
