Note that both of the trucks have sand tires and not bar grips in the desert.

Great photo!!

But what is the contraption they put up in the back of the chevy?
It looks to me like it's something of a workshop-conversion of some kind.
Or some sort of a generator??

And what are the sizes of the tires on these trucks?
(And if anybody knows who produces these tires, or has a model that includes these tires in 1/35 scale, please feel free.... )

Looks like some sort of makeshift workshop conversion.

Tyres would be 10.50-20.

It is a Chevrolet Portee with 6-pdr AT gun:
