Default Well Done Richard, Finally gone and bought it. you can start posting some threads now

Well done Richard !!!!, I am so glad you got your carrier, I thought maybe you would never go for it. If you can get someone to load it for you the other end, thats the hardest part. Expect to pay fees this end on unloading, It cost me about 2k to get a complete carrier to Southhamton in its own 20ft container, expect to pay another £600 to get it through customs to a unloading facility were you can collect it from. Both carriers I brought in were free rolling. If yours is stuck you have a problem. might be worth taking the tracks off and slinging them in the carrier hull. If you have a shipping agent handling it they may pay the VAT for you on the carrier and shipping. They may ask you to get a 'Pseudo Turn' number for the Customs entry, takes a couple of days to process, but you will need it before she will clear customs.
Ask for your worry on tracks, what ever you get you get, dont worry to much as you can mix in a few good links to keep it straight. I cant see a problem in getting bigger pins made up and the holes reamed out. Your not going to war in it and if the track breaks, just renew the link. you just want them to sit straight when viewed from the front and rear. sorry just celabrating your purchase .
