Yes, one and the same.

The yellow one was a late production F60L I think.

The one with the simulated bow front trailer was either an ambulance or No6 arty tractor as it had the speaking tube in the back of the cab.

Here's a link to a few images I've put online, including our own Rynoki. You'll also find the Rogers trailer, searchlight trailer and lots more.

I'm not really sure because I was taking pics elsewhere when it was sold but I thought I heard $4k. Can you confirm, Ryan?

There was quite a lot of work required, the sort if thing beyond the average restorer but if Colin had bought it he would have it in top shape in a couple of days.

I also attended an auction sale today at Griffith although I was too cheap to buy anything, hauled a trailer there and back for nothing buta day out
The Chev engine sold for just over $800, the oil was clean but no aircleaner for over three years. The pile of rims which contained 5 20" blitz rims and the other blitz rims were bought by a Farther/Son from Wagger area who are doing up a blitz, they have my number so I hope to catch up in the future. The rest of the ford gear went to restorers. The chev diffs, ger box and transfur case were not for seperate sale as they were included with the prune harvester. I also found out that I have passed the bug on, after seeing my blitz at the Batlow show a local has bought a blitz and is scouting for parts to restore it, again I hope to have future contact.

Ahh crap. I would've bought that. Bloody forgetful brain. Think happy thoughts.

" A leg out of bed". Great title Keith, I saw that too and thought damn!

That photo of me looks like I should be selling fruit and veg. " 2 dolla, 2 dolla a kilo!"

It's a bit of a long story but ours were made into cranes or sold off after the war as bare chassis. Because of misunderstandings about weight capacities the body we designed (in two versions) wound up being too heavy for the front axle and also because an alternative in the form of the Staghound became available some of the chassis which were delivered were converted to electric mobile cranes by Metropolitan Gas in Fitzroy, Melbourne while others were converted once disposed of into more conventional cranes (like this one was) and weird things such as street sweepers. The first shipment of chassis was sunk en route to Australia.

Default A nasty smash

This late production F60L had obviously been involved in some rough stuff, the nature of which isn't entirely clear but looks to have involved a roll-over.

I realised the format of the first album I made doesn't allow for pic linking so here's Ryan

Default rear engined CMPs

Forgive me if this has all been covered, no doubt it has.

Ours have an interesting history as well Keith,
Originally intended as a lightly armoured observation vehicle, I don't think any saw active service in WWII.
A few (how many Lynn/Rob?) went to Korea as Gun tractors.

Post war the armour was removed and the majority were tuned into off road fire fighting units. I think more survive in this guise than as original units.

The hulls were placed into a river as part of the river retention scheme.
At least 2 hulls have since been removed from the river.

I got to drool over Waiouru Museums one last year;
