Default Quite the find

That is quite a lucky find, parts in the picture look to be clean and ready to start working on. Next question how are you jig saw puzzles? Putting a vehicle that someone else disassembled will be an interesting challenge. Keep us posted on the progress.

Cheers Phil

Great find and great project!

I am surprised to see a yellow dash housing.....my C8 has a yellow dash as well. Am I missing something.....Just a coincidence? Or did Chevrolet use a run of yellow dash housings back in 1940?

Alex

Dash photos...

Not sure where to check on the block for the serial #. Is there a frame # stamped somewhere as well?

Default Congrats.......

..... I hope it included the assembly manual.......hahaha !!!

If I can be of any assistance... mine is a C15a but I took mega pictures during the disassembly........ and Phil has quite the repertoire also....

I wonder what David Hayward can tell us about the manufacturing date by referencing the engine and body serial numbers.......

Good luck and keep the pictures coming.....
