Hi Mike - I use Equipment Enamel 304 with a satin finish.
Re. BSC 381 #222 Light bronze green, I could only find No.22 B.S.381 Light Green attributed to 1930. This colour is the same as model paint Humbrol 80 or E 5973 Model-Master if you need a sample. I have posted this before, but I source this information from http://www.miniatures.de/html/int/colourBS.html & http://www.miniatures.de/html/int/camouflageB.html Bob

I just tested the two websites and they didn't register. Try this one.

BSC 22 from the 1930 chart is supposedly same as the current #222 , they just added a 2 for some reason . My 1939 - 40 era CS8's were all in that colour as the base ..... it's a very rich yellowy grass green ..if its matched correctly, it's a very nice colour . It's actually in the mid range of light - dark ... not over light . MIKE
