Wifi in the Tent??.... Man KAF has gotten really soft since my last trip
It's almost as if the DND only put that data there for their own internal use, with no consideration for the collectors.

The company I am with has run wifi into our tents, but I find it too slow. I go with the hodgy net (DSL), which I must pay for, but works a lot faster. I use the wifi when the hodgy net goes down (which is often). With the hodgy net I also get the cable TV. I have almost 30 channels more here than I have at home.

Unfortunately all the cables for both the internet and the cable TV are run on the ground. This makes them very susceptible to both damage and to theft of signal. The last 3 times my cable went it was someone upstream of the chain tapping into it and not knowing what they were doing.

If you remember, last year the US general was closing much of the boardwalk restaurants. Well since then they have returned in spades. Now there is KFC, TGIFs, Nathans hot dogs, Some US burger chain (forget the name), and an equivalent of Dairy Queen. Add to that a host of pizzerias, kebob shops, and other middle east type food vendors, and things are indeed a bit soft.

The only thing not soft in the tents are the mattresses.
