graham the sealed beam H/Lamps will fit,its just that i already have the semi sealed units,and the sealed beam ones are availiable here in NZ.

Couple of thoughts, one I have found a bulb supplier who can provide halogen replacement bulbs for the replaceable bulb type unit. They work quite well. Though I have not bought and yet it appears that some of the HOT ROD particularly Ford part suppliers have replacement reflectors and lenses for this period that look like a match. Yes I to have some of the original semi sealed bulbs and like the look of the lenses, so I have thought about trying to find a reflector and and replacement bulb that could use the lenses. Headlights
The headlight problem is one that bugged me for a long time. I have always been on the lookout for 7" semi-sealed beams that had provision for a parking light bulb so as to eliminate the need to fit extra lights on the front of the vehicle. I have quite a number that I have aquired over the years but none that are without fault.
I chanced across a company based in South Australia that goes by the name of Classic and Vintage Bulbs and they had exactly what I was after plus a huge range of other items. They were not cheap but I was happy to get them. Newly made, 6v halogen bulbs, perfect. Web site is/was? WWW.classicandvintagebulbs.com If replating a headlight reflector they really need to be done in silver as they were originally. Nothing else works as well and we need all the help we can get as it's not only the vehicles that suffer from advancing age. David

Re-silvering headlight reflectors
I looked into having my headlight reflectors re-silvered, but the cost was very excessive. I have long since deleted the emails but vaguely recall $$$ in excessive of $150 EACH!
I bought two new reflectors from macsauto.com in USA, but they are slightly incorrect size for the glass. It may have been my fault though, as it was early days in my Blitz restoration learning. I do like the options put here though. Good food for thought.
