Laurier West bound in 5 oclock traffic with extra wide load on a single lane road...... I believe a Leopard..... on a civvy transport...... full complete and overflowing the trailer on both side....... I could have touched the tracks with my hand as it went by.......
Any ideas where from and where to...... or did one of you guys by it ???? Bob C.

Another possibility is that it might have been going to a dog and pony at the War Museum??? Or, maybe for display there????

I don't have that much free cash, can't speak for the others.
If it is there, I haven't seen it (or the tracks from delivery - we watch for trespassers). Perhaps Clive bought it but hasn't worked up the courage to ask to store it in the field yet.... |

Details man! The WWII watchword was WHAT - wheels, hull armament, turret?
Solid olive green - Dutch Leo, with minimal Canadian changes beyond a simple stenciled CFR on the glacis plate Green camo with bar armour Green camo without bar armour The Canadian Leopard fleet is about 7 models deep. Original 1976 Leo 1, upgraded Leo 1 with German turrets salvaged from to-be-scrapped tanks; Beaver engineer vehicles; Buffalo recovery vehicles; Dutch Leo 2s, one of which is a dark olive green training tank; German Leos upgraded for Afghanistan, and other German Leos that were not upgraded.
