Well after my leave of absence (Holidays) it's back to the shed and finish the carrier for NSW. Got my new camera today so took a few shots.
I have made a coupling for the trans as I don't have any with a taper. Quite time consuming to make but it turned out good. It is made from 3 seperate pieces and welded together. Just as strong as an original and fits very well. |

As I don't have any fuel tanks in stock
![]() I cut a 10mm thick end template to dolly the end around. They will all be quite exact if you use the same plate. I also fabricated a round bress brake die for the edge radius which is very simple but efective. |

Used lots of clamps toform it into shape then a few tack weld here and there. Then all clamps off and it's ready for the next one prior to fully welding.
