They make "plasti dip", "rubber dip" and both brush-on and spray-on electrical insulator (brush-on electrical tape).
I think plasti-dip (either with or without the hyphen) has become used as a generic name as well as a brand name.

When I did my 12 cab I used the Plasti-Dip to re-do my rifle brackets.
It may take a few applications to get the thickness you require.
